Information variously describes this as an original or a replica and with a cn of 1 or 9. The original D-YLAS was built in 1936 by FAG Stettin, the Flugtechnische Arbeitsgemeinschaft of the Staatliche Ingenieurschule in Stettin which is now Szczecin in Poland. It is very doubtful if the original D-YLAS survived WWII so it is assumed that this one is a replica.
