Eight Canadian Starfighters from 1CAG participated in exercise Elder Forrest, operating from Gilze-Rijen from 5 until 8 March 1984. 104770 suffered a birdstrike on March 7th, but was able to leave a little after the others on March 8th, calling "Tiger52".
