TAA's Viscount 'Charles Sturt' was delivered to the airline's base at Melbourne/Essendon on 12 January 1955. It was leased to Ansett-ANA between 1960 and 1966 as part of a fleet-balancing arrangement. Retired and placed into storage at Essendon on 2 April 1968 and scrapped the following year. This photo was added on 25 May 2020, and has since been viewed 322 times. |
