This is the first incarnation of Aigle Azur, which operated from 1946 until 1955. They acquired TWA's Boeing Stratoliner fleet in 1951. Formerly NC19905, F-BCEV still wears TWA fleet number 400. It appears the picture was taken during the 1955 Paris Air Show. The aircraft left for the Far East a few months later. It mysteriously disappeared over North Vietnam on 18 October 1964.
