Taken from overhead the town of Courtenay. Floatplanes operate from the Comox River (designated CBG9) which is emptying into the sea just beyond the runway. On the other side is the City of Comox, then the Georgia Strait, followed by Texada Island and in the distance are the snow-capped Cascade Mountains on the mainland.
