The Lutana crashed near Nundle, NSW on 2 September 1948 due to a gross navigational error. The rear fuselage and tail came to rest down a steep slope. The aircraft was built as a C-47A-45-DL, serial 42-24137. Sold to ANA in 1947. This photo was added on 2 June 2020, and has since been viewed 399 times. |
