The Kl 35 went into production in 1937 with this 1940 built example being part of an order for the Swedish Air Force where it carried the serial Fv 5028. It became SE-BPC in 1949 before returning to Germany as D-EDOD in 1955 when it was used by the female pilot Liesel Bach whose name it now carries. It later became D-ELLY before being acquired by the marvellous Deutsches Technikmuseum in 1994 where it is seen here.
