Wearing the badge of Skadron Udara 8 at Bogor, Java, this was the ninth of eleven SA.330J Pumas assembled in Indonesia. The helicopter is listed as written off after an accident on 27 March 2007 at Terpones, Keerom regency, in rugged West Papua (the name Keerom seems to be Dutch in origin, meaning 'Turn Back').
