This Sokol was made in 1947 and operated by Clothing Trenčín as a courier machine until 1951. It was transferred to the Voluntary Association of People's Aviation-DOSLET and based at Trnava Aeroclub. After reaching the end of its flying life, it was suspended from the ceiling at the Secondary Industrial School of Mechanical Engineering in Trnava. Eventually, however, it ended up in the garden of a kindergarten and fell into disrepair. It was transported to Kbely in 1969 for restoration and is now on display at the Letecké Muzeum Kbely in its original Clothing Trenčín markings. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
