This T-33 was built in 1953 and served with 66th TRW SOC at Laon airbase in France. In May 1966 it was transfered to the Armée de l'Air and then flew as flying testbed for the jet engine evaluation centre at Istres. After decomissioning it became part of the Musee de l'Air until it was exchanged in 1999 by the Letecké Muzeum Kbely for a reconnaissance MiG-21 R. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
