Delivered to the RCAF in May 1953. To No.3 Operational Training Unit at North Bay, Ontario and later at Cold Lake, Alberta. To 428 Squadron at Uplands, Ontario in 1956 and to 432 Squadron at Bagotville, PQ in 1958. To No.3 O.T.U. in 1962. To the 'Electronic Warfare Unit' at St. Hubert, PQ in 1964. Made its last flight in September 1968 when it flew to CFB Suffield, Alberta for ground testing use by the Defence Research Establishment. Restored by CFB Suffield as their 'Gate Guardian'. Acquired by the Nanton Lancaster Society in August 1994 and displayed with No.3 O.T.U. markings. It is a Mk.3B that was converted to Mk.3D.
