Sadly, during a formation flying training session this aircraft was involved in a mid-air collision with PH-RED (Super Cub) on June 21, 2019. The PH-VCY crashed in a field in the province of Noord-Brabant and cost the lives of both occupants. The PH-RED was damaged, but the pilot was able to set it down in an adjacent field.
