This is a modernized post-war Po-2 produced in Poland after WWII and between 1949 and 1955 approximately 500 units were built. Po-2s were used in WWII by the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps mostly as courier aircraft, although after the war the type was quickly retired. This plane aircraft was manufactured in 1955 and was donated by the Poles to the Letecké Muzeum Kbely in 1972. It is now on display in its original condition. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
