Manufactured in 1940. I was wandering around Woodward Field taking pictures when the owner of this Cub pushed it out of a hangar. After a chatting for a bit, he asked if I'd ever been up in a J-3 before. When I told him I hadn't, he asked if I'd like to. A few minutes later we were in the air on my first flight in a J-3!
