Directly after take-off from Tarin Kowt in Uruzgan (Afghanistan), this Dutch Apache served as an armed escort of a Chinook. The Apache belongs to the inventory of 301sq "Redskins" based at Gilze Rijen air base (The Netherlands) but when deployed to Tarin Kowt assigned to the 1(NLD)ATF of the NLD(TFU), in full: the First Netherlands Air Task Force, Task Force Uruzgan.
