Former USN NC-121K BuNo 141292. Flew last US military Constellation mission with VAQ-33 on June 11, 1982. Ferried to the Florence Air & Space Museum in Florence, SC two weeks later on June 25th. Museum closed and aircraft essentially abandoned. Engines, landing gear, props, rear cargo door and other parts used for the restoration of L1049E N1005C at the AMC Museum in Dover, DE. Only the forward fuselage survived and is one of three disassembled military Super Constellations stored at Bridgewater. This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
