This Flogger-K was taken on charge with the Polish AF in July 1985 and served, at first with the 40 Pulk Lotnictwa Mysliwsko-Bombowego (40th Fighter-Bomber Aviation Regiment) at Swidwin and then with the 7 Eskadra Lotnictwa Taktycznego (7th Tactical Aviation Squadron) at Powidz. It was retired in August 2008 and transported to the Politechnika Wrocławska (Wrocław University of Science and Technology) for use as an instructional airframe. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
