This Gnat is actually the former XS102. It has been painted in the colours of the Yellowjacks display team. The real XR992 crashed on 16 December 1969 when flying with the Red Arrows, after the pilot ejected because he heard a call that his aircraft was on fire, but that call was intended for another aircraft....
