This Hip-C was TOC in August 1968 nad operated by HG-34 at Brandenburg-Briest. it was damaged in September 1980 and had to be withdrawn so was then used as a instructional airframe. After decomissioning it was firstly preserved at the Technikmuseum Hugo Junkers at Dessau and then moved to the Luftfahrt und Technik Museumspark at Merseburg. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
