This Fitter-K was TOC by the Volksmarine (Peoples Navy) as '706' in 1986. After re-unification it was first assigned the serial '2531' and then '9817'. In 1996 it was designated as a ground instructional airframe and given the identifier '14' by the Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 61 at Manching and by 2013 it had been transferred to the Flugwelt Altenburg-Nobitz.
