Falsely painted as US Navy N2S-3 4273, but is in fact ex USAAF Stearman PT-13D 42-17493. Had become N5358N by 1964 and went through various owners until it suffered an accident at Petaluma, CA on 31 Aug 1990. The damaged aircraft was acquired by the Salis Family, and the registration was cancelled on export to France on 3 Mar 1992. Following rebuild and painting in the markings seen here, it was registered to Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis as F-AZJR on 22 Mar 1996.
