VH-SFF suffered a double engine failure on approach to Richmond air force base on November 19, 1996. It is suspected the master ignition switch was inadvertently bumped off. The aircraft was trucked to the RAAF Museum at Point Cook for restoration to a static exhibit. The museum had acquired the aircraft from the US in a swap for an airworthy Canberra (A84-229).
