Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Geoff Brown AO, unveiled the Worimi Hornet, featuring new Aboriginal artwork, in honour of the Traditional Owners of the land on which RAAF Base Williamtown now sits on the 24th February 2015. The artwork, by Australian design studio Balarinji, depicts Kilyarr Kilyarr, the Wedgetail Eagle—a powerful bird of prey which dominates the skies over Australian land and seascapes.
