It is the first aircraft of the aircraft manufacturer Bücker Flugzeugbau. The first flight took place on April 27, 1934. At the beginning of 1936, Switzerland also had to look for a suitable training aircraft for its pilot beginners. The Bü 131 was used in flight schools and in the newly created Luftwaffe, where it became one of the standard training aircraft and was in service with the Swiss Air Force from 1936 to 1971.
