Joining the Dutch navy as a young P2V-7 in 1953, this Neptune saw the world - it was first based at Biak, Dutch New Guinea, and later at Hato, Antilles as well as at Valkenburg in Holland. With the decommission of EHVB in 2006, its gate guard was moved to EHKD, the navy's sole remaining airfield.
