This King Air with unusual bare metal cowlings and nacelles is parked outside Beechcraft dealer Perimeter Aviation's hangar. Still visible on the hangar are the old painted letters for Bristol Aviation Division which dates back to early post-WW-II years. Bristol (from the UK) took over the then McDonald Brothers who had made hundreds of Anson V aircraft for the RCAF during the war and were in danger of going bust in the post-war slump. Eventually the name was changed to Bristol Aerospace and that is a whole other success story. This photo is copyright © Tim Martin, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
