As well as the large "Flying Can Opener" marking of 6 Sqn on the fin it also has the "Akrotiri Strike Wing" flamingo on the forward fuselage. d/d to the RAF 9th Feb' 1954. Sold to BAC Warton 25th Feb' 1969(G-27-170) Sold to the Indian A.F. as IF1024(Mk. B.66) d/d 25th Aug' 1971. Lost in the Indo-Pakistan War on 11th Dec' 1971.
