T.2B-272 of the Spanish Air Force was acquired by the RAF Museum in Jun 1977 and was flown from Madrid to Cazeaux (France) on 17 May 1978, and on to Biggin Hill the next day. It is seen here shortly after arrival. At the time it only carried the serial T2B-272 on the rear fuselage and rudder, no other markings. Two days later it moved on to the Cosford Aerospace Museum, where it was later painted in British Airways colours, falsely marked as G-AFAP. The real G-AFAP was Ju 52 c/n 5881, seized by the Germans at Oslo in April 1940.
