Delivered to the Coast Guard as an RM-1Z in 1952, serialled 1282. Redesignated a VC-3A in 1962, and transferred to the USN in 1969. Unlike many aircraft which fly into Davis-Monthan for storage, this one left in one piece as N13415, but was destroyed in a crash in Venezuela in October of 1978.
