MacDonald Brothers Aircraft Ltd. built hundreds of wooden Anson V aircraft for the RCAF during WW-II. In addition they modified and repaired all types, as seen in the photo. Nearest the camera is a Noorduyn Norseman with fabric removed, next are two Anson tubular frames, then three Anson III aircraft with the original drafty "greenhouse" windows modified to suit the Canadian winter. In the background is the fuselage of Fairey Battle 1807 (code H-60). (Photo source: Bristol Aerospace.)
