No information supplied with the photo but it might well show this mighty helicopter in its last minutes. Converted to Mi-6Zh firefighter in 1967, it crashed during a demonstration near Marseille on 6 August 1967 when the tailboom hit mountainous terrain. The officer kepis certainly look French.
