BDE intended to turn surplus Caribous into water bombers. In 2000 the Avinsa company bought the three white BDE aircraft at Cuatro Vientos with the unlikely plan of hauling cargo with these old beasts between Spain, the Canary Islands and Morocco. EC-GQM is ex T.9-11. Note the registration on the nosewheel door. This photo is copyright © Peter de Jong, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
