Two Syrian MiG-17s, 1033 and 1041, landed at Betzet in northern Israel after the pilots lost their way. After test flights by the Israelis, both jets were given to the United States. 1033 is visible on the right here. A Polish Lim painted as 1033 is in the Hatzerim museum. The old airfield at Betzet is occasionally used by Israeli helicopters.
