Involved in a mid-air collision with N8115Q (PA28) on October 6, 2012. The 2 aircraft collided near Chandler (AZ) and both pilots managed to land their aircraft and escaped without injury. N8115Q landed at Gila River, N4184M on a vehicle test track. Both aircraft were practising simulated IFR conditions with student pilots wearing view-limiting devices. It's a miracle both aircraft landed safely, as N8115Q lost nearly 3.5ft of the right wing, while N4184M experienced significant damage to the left wing and horizontal stabilizer. The aircraft is still active at the time of upload. This photo is copyright © Kas van Zonneveld, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
