The B/1-111th Avn Reg of the Mississippi Army National Guard deployed with the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade to Operation Inherent Resolve. The unit used Camp Buehring as base station, deployed for combat operations to Iraq for some weeks and returned to Buehring on a rotational base for maintenance.
