An unmarked Lima (exept for the skull at the engine bay) during a post-maintenance check flight. At the time this picture was made, this Black Hawk was assigned to the 1-111th Aviation Regiment of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade. The latter was deployed to support Operation Inherent Resolve, the fight against terrorism in Iraq and Syria. Camp Buehring in Kuwait is used for maintenance of the helicopters as well as rest and R&R for the crew.
