This 1964 An-12B first flew with the Soviet Air Force and was transferred as 61 Blue to the Ukrainian Air Force in 1992. From early 2004 it continued to fly in a basic 'blue' Aeroflot c/s with misspelled "Ukraine Cargo Airways" titles and a 'UCA' logo on the fin. The An-12 was possibly cancelled from the register on 31 December 2008 with only 7,793 flight hours. The aircraft was withdrawn from use at Mykolaiv International Airport, also known as Nikolaev Airport (Ukraine) and offered in an auction as scrap metal on 20 December 2019, but there were no bidders. Current fate unknown. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
