Built in 1996, this airframe first flew as D-HYYY with the Deutsche Rettungsflugwacht DRF till bought by Skymedia AG / Lions Air in October 2011. It was Lions Air first HEMS helicopter, and in the beginning was mainly used for transporting organs and transfers of patients between hospitals.
