Scanned from a slide. 149906 is seen here returning from a pre-delivery training flight with Canadian crews to the Agusta facility at the last light of the day. The acquisition of the Cormorant fleet was a real disaster, as the Canadian government initially ordered 50 helicopters, then cancelled the contract at a cost of some 500 million USD, without getting one heli. Years later, the type was ordered again, but only 15 units were bought for the SAR role.
