The first MiG-23MFs were delivered to Poland in June, 1979. In total, 36 MiG-23MFs and 6 MiG-23UBs (twin-seat training version) awere delivered to the Polish AF, serving with the 28th Fighter Aviation Regiment at Słupsk. The last flight of a MiG-23 aircraft in Poland took place on November 30, 1999 and this example is now on display at the super Muzeum Sil Powietrznych. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
