Sometimes it all comes together, lighting, aircraft and timing that you can't predict. Such was the case when this 757 climbed steeply after taking off at DCA. Let me quickly assure you that this is not a "moon added for effect" shot. I had been watching the moon rise on this afternoon, but until this 757 rocketed skyward every plane had been too low.
