Some hour drive from Kabul, a real massive scrapyard of the Afghan Army was found. Only a few sandy paths were cleared from land mines and other booby traps. I was able to drive around this pile of debris, but it was impossible to leave the sandy path. This photo shows an An-32 nose section, and most probably wings of an An-2, but I couldn't reach these wrecks for a further inspection. This is almost certainly the nose section of Antonov 32 serial 338. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
