There was a review of the Royal Air Force to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1977 and this Maritime Formation was a part of a magnificent fly past. The formation consisted of Nimrods MR1 XV235, XV243, XV253, XV256 and XV262, Phantoms FG1 XV583/G and XT873/S and Buccaneers S2B XT288 and XV168. A wonderful sight!
