Lovely old C-130A with a massive 107th TFS badge on the forward fuselage. The A-7 squadron, assigned to the 127th Tactical Fighter Wing of the Michigan Air National Guard used the Herc for logistical missions. The Hercules was preserved in the Selfridge Military Air Museum from 19 September 1989, only one month after this picture was made. Two days earlier, on 17 September 1989 the aircraft made its final operational flight. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
