With Kaman OH-43D N5190Q (ex Bu139990) of Command Helicopters in the background. This Vampire is ex RAAF A79-616. Disposed of in 1970 and shipped to the US. Was not cancelled from the US register until 2015. It does not seem to have been restored. Reported sold in Brazil. Note that there is a Vampire T.35 displayed at the RAAF Museum as A79-616 which the museum claims used the fuselage pod of A79-616. There is photographic evidence that A79-616 was exported to the US. Other sources claim A79-616 was built from various Vampire T35 components held by the RAAF. This photo is copyright © Geoff Goodall, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
