This Beaver crashed three months after we saw it at Lake Hood. On 15 September 2006 it flew from Galena (AK) to Anchorage and got lost in the low clouds. It crashed into a mountain near Farewell Lake about half way of the planned route. This photo is copyright © Streep, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
