This aircraft was at this time the unique worldwide flying aircraft of this type. It had the markings of Groupe de Chasse (GC) 1/3 and 1st Flight badge of SPA 88 "Serpent".Wfu on 23 July 1986 at Vannes airfield during an airshow killing the French Air Force pilot C. Bove. The Dewoitine D.520 was the best French fighter in May 1940. It was even better than German Messerchmitt ME 109E in maneuverability.
