The fuselage for this plane was flown from Bournemouth (BOH) to Bucharest - Baneasa (BBU) in January 1980 to become the first BAC 1-11 to be have its build completed in Romania. It entered service with Tarom in December 1982 and was leased to various airlines in addition to Adria Airways during its commercial life. It is now reported as derelict at Bucharest - Otopeni (OTP).
