The 93rd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Makos" is part of the US Air Force Reserve Command's 482d Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base (FL). Since October 1978, the squadron was equipped with F-4 Phantom, initially the F-4C (up to 1983), and then the F-4D (up to November 1989). It then started to fly the Fighting Falcon.
