This 757 was delivered (placed) with IEA in February 1990, although they immediately sub-leased it to Air Holland, who sub-leased it again to Air Aruba. It finally started operating properly for IEA in April 1991 and is pictured here pushing back with another load of sun-seekers. The plane then progressed through some of the usual suspects of British IT-operating airlines; Airtours, Mytravel (both G-LCRC), Flyjet and then Silverjet (both G-FJEA). The frame was then bought by FedEx and, after freighter conversion, started flying as N919FD, with which it is still active. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
